UX / PRODUCT DESIGNER - JAIPUR, INDIA

I design the moment
a customer decides to trust
what they can't yet touch.

I’m Megha, a UX Designer with 5+ years of experience creating thoughtful, conversion-focused experiences across luxury ecommerce and digital products.
Currently, I design at Angara, shaping experiences that balance customer needs, business goals, and visual craft.

About Me

About

Designing for the decision, not just the interface.

I'm a UX/Product Designer based in Jaipur, India, currently at Angara, a fine jewelry e-commerce brand headquartered in Los Angeles. Most of my recent work lives inside a single, deceptively simple screen - the product detail page - where a shopper decides whether to trust a diamond they've never held.

I care about the parts of design that show up in the numbers: bounce rate, session duration, product-to-cart ratio, average order value. Research runs underneath everything I ship - usability testing, A/B experiments, and increasingly, AI-assisted synthesis that lets me test more ideas in less time without losing rigor.

How I work

Research first, revenue always in view.

01

Understand

User interviews, empathy mapping and competitive analysis anchored to the exact moment I'm designing for - not general behaviour.

02

Structure

Information architecture that makes complex, high-consideration products easy to navigate, compare and understand at a glance.

03

Prototype

Low-fidelity wireframes to interactive prototypes - iterated quickly, often with AI-assisted exploration, before visual design begins.

04

Validate

100+ usability tests per component through UserTesting.com, paired with internal A/B experiments to confirm impact before scale.

05

Measure

Every design decision is framed against P2C, AOV, session duration and bounce rate - and ultimately, revenue per qualified visitor.

06

Refine

Shipping is the start, not the end. Systems and components evolve continuously as new research and data come in.

My approach

Design earns its place
when it moves a number.

Research before opinion.

Systems over one-off screens.

Ship, measure, refine - always.

Precision over hype in every metric I report.

FAQs

Good to know.

How do you balance design craft with business metrics?

Every design decision I make is framed against a metric it's meant to move - P2C, AOV, session duration or bounce rate - so craft and business impact aren't in tension, they're the same conversation.

What does a typical engagement look like?

It usually starts with research - interviews, competitive analysis, or a usability audit - then moves through wireframes and prototypes to validated, production-ready designs, with A/B testing where it's useful.

Do you work on projects outside of e-commerce?

My deepest expertise is luxury e-commerce and PDP design, but the underlying process - research, IA, prototyping, validation - transfers to most product design problems, including 0→1 mobile apps.

How involved are engineering teams in your process?

Closely. I annotate files clearly and structure handoff so developers understand not just what to build, but why - which keeps implementation faithful to the intended experience.
